Information for General Practitioners (GPs) and other healthcare professionals:
To refer a client for psychology the following plans and referrals may be necessary to access sessions through Medicare.
GP Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP): Required for patients seeking psychology services. This plan allows clients to access up to ten (10) sessions per year under Medicare. Out of pocket gap fees will apply.

Information for NDIS participants and NDIS referral networks.
To refer an individual to Lane Wellness under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), please note the following information:
We welcome self-referrals, as well as communication from support coordinators, key workers, plan managers, case managers or family members working with an individual.
If you are a third party, to expedite this process, please include the participant’s NDIS plan details (including plan dates), and any relevant documentation to streamline this process and match them with their preferred psychologist.
Please note, we only accept NDIS Plan Managed or NDIS Self-Managed clients, and we are NOT able to accept NDIA-Managed (or Agency Managed) at this point in time.

Information for private paying clients and self-referrals.
Important note for Private Health Funds: Please note, we do NOT facilitate HICAPS on-site at Lane Wellness. To lodge a claim, please screen your eligibility for a rebate with your Health Fund prior to attending your initial appointment. At the time of your appointment, you will be provided a digital receipt to submit to your Health Fund externally.
If you are making a self-referral, please be prepared to provide personal information, a brief overview of your needs, and any existing medical or documentation that might be relevant at the time of booking to ensure we can match you with the most suitable clinician.
